How did Casalino start?

Passionate about travelling, photography, interior design, and driven by a strong desire to set up my own company, I decided to combine my passions to create Casalino, a unique site for home rentals.
Far from the big companies with endless lists, I choose to select unique places with a real personality.
Casalino is the name of my Italian grandmother. It was very important for me to call my website by her name to perpetuate the values she passed on to me, her friendly and generous hospitality.
Since 2016, finding and photographing the most beautiful holiday homes in France has become my priority.

As a lawyer, I worked for more than 12 years in large industrial groups. After some busy years dealing with work and family life, I was looking for a new professional challenge.
Passionate about real estate, when I met Amélie, our association for Casalino seemed obvious to us.
The houses I am aiming to select for Casalino should meet our desire to escape to unique places.
Being attached to my Mediterranean roots, my goal is , among others, to develop a collection of rare places : a traditional "bergerie" in Corsica, a typical "cabanon" in the Calanques of Marseille, or a "chalet d'alpage" in the Alps.
We want to develop Casalino as a label of houses with personality and are happy to share our selection with you !
