This unusual house located on the bank of Lake Geneva was inspired by the old boathouses. With a surface area of 320 m2 on two levels, it can accommodate up to 10 people. This rare 9-meter-high house was designed with a steel structure, which contrasts with the larch wood walls and the waxed concrete floor, all in oversized proportions and a resolutely minimalist style. The living areas follow one another lengthwise in order to integrate with the landscape and to offer a panoramic view of the lake from the immense 7-meter high glass facade of the living room. The furnishings have been carefully chosen to fit the minimalist style desired by the architect: you will find the biggest design pieces, very little furniture in the bedrooms and bathrooms with colors and mosaics signed by Le Corbusier. The five double bedrooms are spacious and warm. With their larch wood walls, the atmosphere is soft, inviting us to contemplation. Outside, you will have access to a garden with trees overlooking a private pontoon: you will be able to enjoy a paddle board ride on the lake or a small boat ride.
The house is located on the banks of Lake Geneva, only a few minutes from the port of Thonon. You can reach Geneva or Evian in a few minutes by boat and enjoy this exceptional setting.
