This beautiful house for rent in the Hautes-Alpes is an ideal place for holidays with friends or family. A true haven of peace, this former 17th century farmhouse has been renovated in a contemporary architectural design. The 350m2 house is spread over three floors with a main living space featuring an open plan kitchen, dining and living room furnished with designer furniture. There are iconic pieces by Ray and Charles Eames, Jean Prouvé and Hans Wegner. The large bay windows open onto the terrace with a beautiful heated swimming pool measuring 10 by 4 meters as well as a jacuzzi, with a breathtaking view of the walnut orchard and mountains. The five bedrooms all have their own ensuite, decorated with great attention to detail. There is an outdoor kitchen and dining area under a large oak tree. It is equipped with a wood-burning oven and barbecue as well as an outdoor refrigerator - perfect for chilling bottles of rosé! A studio attached to the house can accommodate two additional people and can be rented at an extra cost.
The house is located in the heart of nature, in a small hamlet in the Hautes-Alpes, at the foot of the mountains of the Southern Alps. This house is a 35 minute drive from Haute Provence and its iconic lavender fields and just over half an hour from Drôme Provençale as well as ski resorts, such as the Dévoluy.
